Don’t bury your feelings. Above all else, don’t bury your feelings. In your own way, releasing your deeply hurt feelings is a necessary step in healing. Write your deepest feelings down, in your diary. Talk about your feelings. Tell your story.

Look within for your inner strength. You can measure your strength by how you respond to unwanted, often unexpected situations. There is power within you that you may not have discovered yet. Connecting to your inner strength is important and can be an interesting sign. Maybe you didn’t need that undiscovered power until now. It will take determination and effort. Hold on a minute. You can choose to live in despair forever, life halted by the weight of your single epidemic. Choosing to rise above the pain point in your life is the best choice. You have the inner strength to not only be ready to live, but to survive. Choose to live in the present to the best of your ability.

Call your pain what it is – Grief. I learned as I experienced unwanted and unexpected pain, grief, and loss, that I needed to call my pain what it was – pain. As I fully understood the source of my pain, I became more able to see the power of my unique grief. After that I was able to deal with my sad situation on a whole new level.

On your journey to healing grief, you will come to understand the many detours and emotions you will face. Feeling hopeless, feeling powerless and depressed, not knowing where to get help, both physical and emotional pain, feelings of anger, regret, hurt, and frustration, to name a few. So, if some of the emotions are part of your journey. Don’t feel disheartened this deviation is normal and different for many sufferers after a terrible pain. You will be able to work on these inverted paths.

Find someone who cares. In fact, seek help from more than one caregiver. Early in your grief experience you will recognize the need and benefit from the help of others. At the beginning of my grief journey a new hope turned into a needed and sought after companion. A caregiver can help you find hope and peace while you heal. If you haven’t yet, find a trusted caregiver.

Don’t give up on God. Do not rely on your inspiration as the only source of healing aid. How can you understand your pain? How can you erase your darkest pain? How can you find a brighter tomorrow? These are all questions that when you are dealing with terrible pain you will look to your inspiration for answers.
After you seek to better understand how to work through your pain, don’t leave God out of your healing formula.

Communicating with God can give you inspiration and strength beyond your own influence and power. However, after communicating with your God, realize that you still need to lift your sail and seek the spirit of healing from your unbearable pain.
