Acne is an inflammatory skin condition characterized by breakouts of the skin around the hair follicles. It is a common disease that mainly affects young people, but it can also affect adults, especially those between 20 and 30 years of age. In these people acne can appear as different types of acne such ascomedones (blackheads), papules (red, hard bumps), pustules (grains of pus) and rarely acne and boils. The lesions are located on the face and often on the back, chest, shoulders and neck. Acne needs treatment and there is no need to wait for nature to solve the problem as it is very difficult to predict how long it will take to disappear completely. Treatment can prevent the development of scars or marks, thereby improving skin tone and appearance.

The causes

Acne is caused by a series of hormonal changes that occur during puberty.
